Program and Initiatives
Racial Justice and Technology Policy
We are working to build awareness of racial justice and tech policy topics disproportionately impacting communities of color through research, educational programming, and partnership with advocacy, racial justice, and civic engagement organizations. Through partnerships with aligned organizations and initiatives, we also are working to build collective momentum towards policy changes and solutions that will benefit communities of color.
Inclusive Technology Ecosystem Building
To build an inclusive tech economy, we need to prioritize initiatives that holistically address leaks in local and regional tech pipelines. We support place-based solutions that put racial equity at the center of both design and implementation of emerging technologies and corresponding stakeholders. We continue to advocate for increased support coordination, network, and funding policies at local, regional levels.

Supporting Foundational Needs of Communities of Color
In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are critical racial disparities that the pandemic has exposed and that must be addressed for Black, Latinx, Indigenous and communities of color to participate meaningfully in the technology economy. We will focus our efforts on partnering with organizations and initiatives focused on grassroots capacity building, civic engagement, and economic/workforce development.
Racial Justice and Technology Policy Webinar Series
Technology is the driving force of our economy while racial justice is the compass of our values. To create inclusive technology ecosystems and enable equitable participation in the technology economy, we support critical foundational needs of Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities while advocating for technology policy change. Actionable racial justice & tech policies are needed. To further the understanding of technology’s impact on marginalized communities and advocate for solutions, it’s important that cross sectors of industry, government, foundations, entrepreneurship, and community come together.
